5 - How to check and update your user details (e.g., level or programme of study)

On this page, you will learn how to:

1. check your user details on KWASU-Virtual database,

2. update your LMS email address (via self-service), and

3. request an update (or correction of errors) on your user details.

A) How to check your user details on KWASU-Virtual database

1. Click on your name at the top of the screen
   (you must be logged in on KWASU-Virtual).

2. Click Profile from the drop-down list.

3. On the next page, you will see some of your user details.
   (e.g., Name, Matric. No., Level, Programme, Application/JAMB No., etc.)

B) How to update your LMS email address (via self-service)

Note that you can update your email address by yourself on KWASU-Virtual.
To do so, carry out Steps 1 and 2 above, then:

4. Click on Edit profile in the "user details" area.

5. Make the required changes in the Email address field.

6. Scroll down and click on Update profile.

C) How to request an update (or correction of errors) on your user details

Note that you cannot update most of your other user details by yourself.
Rather, you will have to make a request with an official evidence to back your claim.

7. Carry out Steps 1 to 3 above. 

8. If you observe any error (e.g., wrong level, programme, name, etc.),
   contact the LMS Administrator (CDEE) for correction by sending an email* to lmshelp@kwasu.edu.ng
   
   * In your email, make sure to
   - identify yourself,
   - mention the help you seek, and
   - attach a copy of your course registration form (download or screenshot from KWASU Portal).
